The Komperdell equestrian safety vests are in our opinion the most comfortable in their class and fulfill the highest safety norms. There essentially are two safety levels:
Level 2
Back protectors with additional chest and rib protection, tested and approved according to the European motorcycle norm EN 1621-2.
These are very light and can easily be worn like an additional shirt. Therefore they are great for riding out, light jumping and leisure riding.
Level 3
Safety vest / body protectors with 360° allround torso protection, tested and approved according the equestrian norm EN 13158:2009.
These offer advanced protection which comes with a thicker foam and therefore are best for riding in forests, cross country races, hunting or advanced jumping.
